Brandenburg Concerto No. 5
Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 (BWV 1050) is the fifth concerto in a set of six, completed in 1721. Written for solo harpsichord, flute and violin, with strings and continuo, this concerto has three movements, I. Allegro, II. Affettuoso, and III. Allegro. London Concertante, led by violinist Ben Norris, perform the work with their customary panache as well as with exquisite phrasing and flawless precision.
We perform all over the uk (and beyond)
One of our greatest pleasures as an ensemble is that we perform all over the UK. One day we will be in London, the next in Manchester and then the following day in Edinburgh. Join your local mailing list to find out what events are going on near you.
